Markell Simmons Signs Letter to TCU

Pima Community College football player Markell Simmons (Mountain Pointe HS) will continue his collegiate career in Fort Worth, TX.

Simmons, a defensive back, signed his letter of intent to play at Texas Christian University on Tuesday.

Simmons didn't play for the Aztecs this season to focus strictly on his academics. In 2014, he was named second team All-ACCAC and was All-WSFL honorable mention. He led the team with four interceptions and was second with 71 total tackles. He also had five passes broken up.

Simmons had received offers from Ohio State, Nebraska, West Virginia and Utah.
