The Pima Community College women’s cross country team closed out the 2025 season on Saturday at the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Fort Dodge, IA.

The No. 23 ranked Aztecs Women's Cross Country team took second place at the ACCAC/Region I, Division I Championships with a team score of 54 points. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed at the ACCAC/Region I, Division I Championships on Friday held at Crossroads Park in Gilbert, AZ.

Sophomore Sofia Cambridge (Page HS) was the top finisher for the Aztecs in the 6K open race at the Highlander Invitational as she finished with a personal-best time of 24:19.8. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday hosted by the University of California, Riverside.

The No. 23 ranked Aztecs Women's Cross Country team produced five runners in the top 20 at the Al Shirley (CAMPY) Invitational on Saturday at Central Arizona College. The Aztecs took third place with a total of 60 points. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed in its third meet of the season on Saturday at the Al Shirley (CAMPY) Invitational held at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, AZ.

Freshman Madeline Mitchell (Tucson Magnet HS) was the top finisher for the Aztecs at the Dave Murray Invitational as she closed out the 6K race with a time of 25:53.9 while sophomore Karlee Pope finish behind her in 43rd place with a time of 26:08.6. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team competed in its second meet of the season on Saturday at the Dave Murray Invitational hosted by the University of Arizona.

The Women's Cross Country Team opened the 2025 season with a fourth place finish at the George Kyte Invitational. The Pima Community College women’s cross country team completed its first race of the 2025 season on Saturday at the George Kyte Invitational at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, AZ.

The Pima Community College Athletics department produced in the classroom as 10 of its 11 teams received 2024-25 NJCAA All-Academic recognition along with a new school record of 88 individual student-athletes earning All-Academic distinction.

The Pima Community College Athletics department finished ninth in the final NATYCAA Cup Standings with 119.5 points. They were first among ACCAC conference programs, third among departments with no dorms available and the team with the least amount of sports. It was Pima's best finish in the standings and most points since 2015-16.

Pima Community College Athletics finished ninth in the final 2024-25 National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators (NATYCAA)/Ron Case Cup standings presented by Daktronics with 119.5 points.

Pima Community College Athletics has announced a new partnership with Opendorse, a leading Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) platform. Pima is the first community college in Arizona and among one of the first NJCAA schools in the nation to provide NIL support for student-athletes.

The Pima Community College women’s cross country team earned the runner-up trophy on Friday at the Region I, Division I Championships on Friday at Crossroads Park in Gilbert, AZ.

Sophomore Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) was named NJCAA Division I National Runner of the Week and ACCAC Division I Conference Runner of the Week after she took first place in the women's 5K (3.1 miles) for the second straight race. Pima Community College women’s cross country runner Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) earned praise at the national level for her performance at the Vaquero CAMPY Invitational.

The No. 19 ranked Aztecs Women's Cross Country took first place in the team standings with 31 points while sophomore Reatta Danhof (Ironwood Ridge HS) took first in the individual race finishing the 5K race (3.1 miles) with a personal-record time of 18 minutes, 48.0 seconds.
