Reigne Waugh's strong close to the regular season earns ACCAC Player of the Week recognition

Pima Community College women's basketball player Reigne Waugh played a big part in its regular season finale as she earned ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28.

Waugh, a freshman guard, finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals as the Aztecs beat Mesa Community College 74-60 to close out the regular season. She shot 40 percent (6-for-15) from the field and 85.7 percent (6-for-7) from the free throw line.
She has played and started in all 29 games averaging 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 assists per game.

Waugh was named second team All-ACCAC/All-Region I and took home two ACCAC Division II Player of the Week honors. Her first was for Nov. 9-15.
