Kiley Sours-Miller claims second ACCAC Player of the Year nod, Todd Holthaus named Coach of the Year

The Pima Community College women's basketball team was featured on the ACCAC Division II regular season awards.

  • Sophomore post player Kiley Sours-Miller (Dream City Christian) became a two-time ACCAC Division II Player of the Year and two-time All-ACCAC/All-Region I First Team player. This is the third straight year a Pima player has claimed ACCAC Division II Player of the Year award (Sours-Miller 2024-25, Rylei Waugh 2023-24).
    She posted 12 double-doubles in points and rebounds as she averaged 18.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.1 assists and 1.1 steals. She has played and started in all 29 games this season. Sours-Miller surpassed the 1,000-point Pima career mark on Jan. 31 and now sits at 1,150 total points.
  • Women's Basketball coach Todd Holthaus was selected the ACCAC Division II Coach of the Year. This is the third time he has earned the award (2009, 2016, 2026).
    He picked up his 400th career win with the Aztecs on Nov. 4. He led them to a 24-4 overall record and 16-2 record in ACCAC conference play during the regular season. It was the fourth straight season that the Aztecs have won at least 15 games in conference play.
  • Sophomore point guard Melicia Nelson (Window Rock HS) was selected First Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I.
    Nelson posted five double-doubles and four triple-doubles in points, rebounds and assists. She is averaging 10.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 2.8 steals as she has played and started in 28 games this season.
  • Freshman guard Reigne Waugh (Westchester HS, CA) was named Second Team All-ACCAC/All-Region I.
    She scored in double figures in 22 games so far this season averaging 11.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.6 steals as she has played and started in all 29 games this season.

The Aztecs defeated Phoenix College 78-55 on Wednesday and advance to the Region I, Division II Finals. They will play Mesa Community College on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium.
