Bio

Started at Pima: 2022
Education: 2015 graduate of Northern Arizona University
Experience: Zach Roth joined Pima Athletics as the Women’s Volleyball Strength & Conditioning Coach in August 2022. Roth, a 2015 graduate of Northern Arizona University, came to Pima with experience at four different Division I schools. Most recently, Roth worked at Temple University as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach overseeing the training of Men’s Soccer, Gymnastics, Crew, Men’s Cross Country, and assisting in the training of Women’s Volleyball and Women’s Basketball. Prior to his 4-year tenure at Temple he worked as an Assistant Strength Coach at Butler University where his responsibilities included overseeing all of Track & Field, Women's Swimming and a brand-new Women's Lacrosse program, as well as assisting with Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Football. As a student and post-grad Coach Roth completed work at Northern Arizona University and the University of San Francisco.
Additional Experience: Roth has additional experience as the Athletic Director at Sabino High School, and through Palo Verde High School as an athlete development teacher/coach. Roth, who started his collegiate career at the University of Northern Colorado where he was a walk-on wide receiver for the football team, carries specialized certifications through the CSCCa and the NSCA.
Personal: Zach and his wife, Jen, have two lovely children; Franklin and Penelope. He ejoys exploring new restaurants and hikinh with family and friends in his spare time.
