Bio

Hometown: Tucson
Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Illinois-Springfield
Coaching/Playing Experience: Miranda has coached youth soccer and has been the Director of soccer camps in Illinois, New Mexico, and Arizona. He has been the assistant coach for the Pima Community College Women's Soccer program from 2007-present.  Miranda is also currently a head coach with the Tanque Verde Soccer Club, FC Tucson Youth Academy, and the Associate Head Coach for the senior FC Tucson Soccer Team of the PDL. 

In 1989-90, played indoor soccer for the Tucson Amigos in the Southwest Independent Soccer League, where he earned Rookie of the Year honors. He also played in college where he was a two-time National Soccer Champion; first an NJCAA Champion with Yavapai Community College in 1990, and the second was a NAIA Championship with Sangamon State in 1993. After college, Miranda played for the New Mexico Chiles in the USISL Select League, the Arizona Sahuaros, and Tucson Fireballs in the USISL D-3 Pro League.
