The Pima Community College women's basketball team (12-2, 6-0 in ACCAC) opened 2018 with a dominating conference road win.
The No. 4 ranked Aztecs remain undefeated in ACCAC conference play after their 95-53 win at Scottsdale Community College.
The Aztecs hit 16 3-pointers for the game as freshman Jacqulynn Nakai (Coconino HS) led the way with six. She scored a game-high 22 points. Freshman Shauna Bribiescas (Dobson HS) also scored in double figures with 16 points while sophomore Christine Ortega (Flowing Wells HS) contributed with 15 points.
The Aztecs face a tough test on Saturday when they host Division I team Cochise College at the West Campus Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
