Henderson and Browne set NJCAA National Qualifiers at ACCAC Conference Meet

Sophomores Donovan Henderson and Mikhail Browne took first and second place respectively in the triple at the ACCAC Conference Meet. The Pima Community College men's track & field team came away with two NJCAA national qualifying marks on Friday at the ACCAC Conference Meet.

  • Sophomores Donovan Henderson and Mikhail Browne earned NJCAA national qualifying marks in the triple jump. Henderson took first place with a mark of 15.02 meters (49-feet, 3.50-inches). That puts her fourth in Pima school history and ranked third in the country.
  • Browne took second place and set his qualifier at 14.92 meters (48-feet, 11-inches). He is now fifth in school history and ranked fourth in the country.
  • Freshman Cody Rennaker (Youngker HS) took first place in the high jump at 1.93 meters (6-feet, 4-inches).

The Aztecs will compete in the Glendale Outdoor Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 9-10 at Glendale Community College.
