The Pima Community College men's soccer team (10-3-1, 10-3-1 in ACCAC) suffered its first home loss in two years on Tuesday at Kino North Stadium.
The No. 10 ranked Aztecs were shut out for the second straight game in their 2-0 loss against No. 6 Yavapai College (13-1, 12-1). It was just the second home loss for the Aztecs since moving to Kino North Stadium and the North Grandstand in 2013. They have an overall record of 28-2-2 at Kino.
After a scoreless first half, the Aztecs surrendered two goals in the second half at the 58th and 69th minutes.
The Aztecs outshot the Roughriders 4-3 for the game. Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Anderson (Salpointe Catholic HS) finished the game with one save.
The Aztecs were swept in their head-to-head meetings with the Roughriders. They fell 2-1 in Prescott last month.
The Aztecs come right back to Kino North Stadium on Thursday when they host Scottsdale Community College at 4:30 p.m.
