Men's Soccer Player Romero Signs Leter to Play at UCLA
Pima Community College men's soccer player Jason Romero signed his letter of intent to continue his collegiate career.
Romero, a sophomore forward, will play at the University of California-Los Angeles. He played his freshman year at Yavapai College and came to Pima this season where he helped lead the Aztecs to a third place finish at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in November and a 21-4-2 overall record.
Romero was named an NJCAA Division I first team All-American and selected ACCAC Division I Player of the Year. He scored 32 goals (a Pima men's soccer record) and also had 12 assists on the season.
