Nash's double-double not enough as Aztecs volleyball falls at No. 6 ranked Glendale CC

The Pima Community College volleyball team (4-9, 1-5 in ACCAC) hit the road on Wednesday as it played at No. 6 ranked Glendale Community College (15-2, 4-1) in an ACCAC conference match.

  • The Aztecs tied the match in a thrilling second set but fell in four sets to the Gauchos 25-19, 28-30, 25-15, 25-17).
  • Sophomore Madi Nash (Sahuaro HS) finished with her eighth double-double of the season as she posted 16 kills and 12 digs, to go along with three aces. Freshman Bergen Campbell fell short of a double-double as she finished with nine kills and 10 digs.
  • Sophomore Kendall Deeter (Mountain View HS) had eight kills and five blocks while fellow sophomore Kaleigh Hockett (Desert Mountain HS) finished with 26 assists and two aces. Sophomore Grace Adams (Sabino HS) posted 19 digs and three aces.

The Aztecs will return to the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Friday when they host Chandler-Gilbert Community College. First serve will be at 7:00 p.m.
