Pima women's soccer GK Chloe Kunnemann named NJCAA National Goalkeeper of the Week

Pima Community College women's soccer goalkeeper Chloe Kunnemann (Empire HS) received national recognition on Wednesday by the NJCAA.

  • Kunnemann, a sophomore goalkeeper, was named NJCAA Division II National Goalkeeper of the Week for the week of April 1-7.
  • She stopped all three shots on goal by Glendale Community College in the second half and helped secure Pima's 3-0 win to open the 2020-21 season.

The Aztecs play their first home game on Thursday against Cochise College at the West Campus Aztec Soccer Field part of the Chapman Auto Sports Complex. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
