Basketball's Olson signs to University of Hawai'i-Hilo

Pima Community College women's basketball player Bryanne Olson (Pusch Ridge Christian HS) signed her letter of intent on Sunday to continue her education and collegiate career at the NCAA Division II level.

Olson, a 5-11 guard, signed to play at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo out of the Pacific West Conference. She will join teammate Shauna Bribiescas (Dobson HS), who also signed with the Vulcans last month.

Olson played in 25 games this season for the Aztecs making 19 starts. She averaged 4.3 points and 3.6 rebounds.

Olson played her freshman year of college basketball at Colorado Christian University, an NCAA Division II school in Lakewood, CO. She played in 27 games for the Cougars.
