Education: Graduated in 2001 from Benson High School in Benson, AZ. Received an Asscociate's Degree from Pima Community College, Liberal Arts; Bachlor's Degree from University of Arizona (2006), Health Science; Bachelor's Degree from University of Arizona, Nursing Science (2011)
Coaching/Playing Experience: Coach Harrison was a State Champion in high school in the 4x400m relay, he also holds the Benson High School record for the 4x100m record and 2A South Region records for the Long Jump and 4x100m relay. He went on to run Track and Field at Pima Community College, Class of 2003 (Academic Athletic All-American). He was a National Qualifier in 4x100m relay & Long Jump (12th). During his athletic career at Pima, Coach Harrison was Team captain. He coached Benson Union High School during the 2003-2007 seasons. During his tenure at Benson, Coach Harrison coached eight state champions, two state runner-ups and nine Region Champions. His athletes broke two state records and three school records.
Highlights: During Coach Harrison's tenure at Pima, he’s coached eight NJCAA National Champions, 21 All-Americans, 97 national championship qualifiers, six top 4 finishers and 26 top 8 finishers at national championships as well as multiple top-10 finishers. He’s coached 24 Region Champions, and 28 Region runner-ups. Twenty-five jumpers have been placed on top-10 lists while coaching athletes to break multiple school records. He also assisted in coaching five Regional runner-up titles participants (three women, two men).
Personal: Coach Harrison is the son of Clifton and Vera Harrison of Benson, Arizona. He is a Progressive Critical Care/Intensive Care Nurse at Tucson Medical Center, Exercise Physiologist Tucson Medical Center and a Ford Model in Scottsdale, AZ.
