The Pima Community College softball team added some pitching-power to its 2021 recruiting class.
- Nicole Brimhall, a left-handed pitcher from Farmington High School (New Mexico) signed with the Aztecs.
- Brimhall has thrown 186.2 innings with 148 strikeouts in her career. On offense, she posted a .367 career batting average with 58 hits, 34 runs and 37 RBIs.
- Coach's Quote: "I am so excited about Nicole. She will add tremendous depth to our already stacked pitching staff with some great movement and raw velocity," Pima softball coach Rebekah Quiroz said. "Nicole is a presence on the mound with her size and athleticism. I am excited about the potential and balance she brings to our staff next year with another lefty-pitcher and current freshman Lorisa Martinez.
"Nicole was highly recruited and we couldn't be happier that she chose Pima Softball to continue her stellar pitching career," Quiroz added. "I expect her to do amazing things when she arrives in Tucson. She comes from a great family and is as humble and respectful as they come."
