The Pima Community College softball program welcome six new recruits for the 2020-21 season.

Each recruit will be highlighted on the pimaaztecs.com and on Pima Athletics social media very soon.

Pima softball head coach Rebekah Quiroz is looking forward to seeing what this group is capable of.

"Pima Softball has been awaiting this stellar class for a long time. This 2020 group is extremely talented and very well balanced," Quiroz said. "They pack a strong punch with pitching, catching, defensive infield and outfield utilities. Some long-ball hitters and some excellent speed on the base paths.

"This group is competitive, fierce, and willing to do whatever it takes. All six were highly recruited and continue to excel in the classroom and in their communities. They are a perfect fit for the family environment we strive to maintain for Pima Softball.  I am honored to bring in this type of versatility to an already extremely loaded team. We are beyond excited to hit the ground running with this 2020 Team!"
