Aztecs Men's Soccer Student Assistant Anatole Levallois Named Chapman Automotive Aztecs Student-Athlete of the Week

Pima Community College men's soccer Student Assistant Coach Anatole Levallois intended on playing soccer for the Aztecs but he got put into a bigger role with the program.

  • Levallois was named the Chapman Automotive Aztecs Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 4-10.
  • Levallois, who came to Pima from Institution Sévigné High School in Granville, France, suffered a career-ending injury in December 2020. He transitioned into a Student Coaching role where he does video analysis, organizes pregame warmups and prepares game reports. He also gets equipment ready for practices and games.
  • He started taking classes at Pima during Fall 2020. He earned a 4.0 GPA for the Spring 2021 semester.
  • He was a volunteer head coach for his U7, U8 and U9 teams for A.S. Cérences Soccer Club in France. He is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
  • This award is open to all Pima student-athletes and is based on their athletic achievement, leadership among the coaches and peers and service to the community.
  • Representatives from Pima Athletics and Chapman Automotive compile nominations submitted by Pima coaches and make the selections.
