The Pima Community College Athletic teams produced two teams with No. 1 rankings in the latest NJCAA National polls.

  • The Aztecs men's basketball team is ranked No. 1 for the first time in program history in the NJCAA Division II preseason poll. The Aztecs first regular season game is on Friday against Arizona Christian University JV at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Tipoff at 6:00 p.m.
  • The men's soccer team (22-2) snagged the No. 1 ranking for the first time in program history in the latest NJCAA Division I national poll. The Aztecs also set another first in program history with their No. 1 seeding for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament. They play No. 12 seed Muskegon Community College on Monday and No. 8 seed Northeast Texas Community College on Wednesday in Pool A play. Both games will be at 9:30 a.m. (ET).   • The women's cross country team remained at No. 8 in the latest NJCAA Division I national poll. They will compete at the NJCAA Division I National Championships on Saturday at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, KS. The race will be at 10:00 a.m.
  • The women's basketball team is ranked No. 14 in the NJCAA Division II national poll. They will host Arizona Christian University JV on Saturday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
  • The football team (6-2) dropped five spots to No. 16 in the latest NJCAA national poll. They will close out the regular season at Arizona Western College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Yuma.
